Getting Started

If you already had WorryTree installed, you don’t need to start over. On some devices, Luma will replace WorryTree automatically when you update the app. On others, you’ll just need to manually update Luma from your app store. Once you open Luma, simply log in with your usual WorryTree username and password - no need to create a new account.

No, all your saved worries and journal entries are still there. As soon as you log in to Luma with your WorryTree account details, you’ll see everything just as you left it. We’ve kept everything safe and sound.

We’ve grown beyond just worry management, adding more tools to help you calm your mind, ground yourself and build habits that last. The new name reflects that brighter, bigger toolkit - but it’s still made by the same small, family-run team who built WorryTree.

Luma works on most modern Apple and Android phones and tablets. You’ll need iOS 15 or later, or Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. You can check your device settings to see which version you’re on.

It’s still right here! You’ll find the WorryTree tool on your Luma home screen, alongside the other tools. Just tap ‘Add Worry’ to start working through your worry, step by step, just like before.

No - you’ll need to be connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data to use Luma. This is because your entries are securely stored in the cloud rather than on your device, which keeps them safe and synced across all your devices.

On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?” and follow the prompts. We’ll send a password reset link to the email address you used for your account.

Yes. Your privacy matters to us and we take it very seriously. All your entries are stored securely, and we never sell your data to third parties.

Only you. We can’t read your private entries, and no one else has access unless you choose to share them yourself.

No - our commitment to protecting your data is exactly the same. The move to Luma doesn’t mean giving up any of your privacy or security.
Why Luma isn’t free

We’d love to make Luma completely free for everyone, but creating and maintaining a secure, reliable app costs money. Your subscription covers ongoing development (so we can keep adding and improving tools), security and privacy systems to keep your data safe and hosting so the app runs smoothly. We keep our prices as low as we can while still providing an ad-free, private experience.

Because your privacy matters more. We don’t show ads in Luma and we don’t sell your data - ever. Charging a small subscription fee means we can fund the app without compromising your trust.

You can manage your subscription directly in your app store. The free 7-day trial gives you full access before you decide, and you can cancel any time - you won’t be charged again once you do. Your account and your data are yours, even if you choose to cancel.

If you have purchased a subscription but you are still seeing locked content, first of all please make sure you are logged in correctly.
If you are already logged in, log out and force-quit the app, then re-open it and log back in.
If you purchased your subscription via iTunes in the app:
Tap on ‘Restore Purchase’.
If you purchased your subscription via Google Play in the app:
Check that you can see the subscription listed under your subscriptions in the Google Play Store app.
Go back to the WorryTree app and tap a piece of locked content. This should automatically sync your subscription.

First, double-check your email and password are correct. If you’ve forgotten your password, tap “Forgot password?” on the login screen to reset it. If you’re still stuck, email us at hello@myluma.app to get back in.

Try closing and reopening the app, checking your internet connection, and making sure you’ve updated to the latest version in your app store. If it’s still not working, contact us so we can investigate.

Sometimes! We invite users to test new tools before they launch. If you’d like to join our beta list, email us and we’ll let you know when spots open up.

Yes - just log in with the same username and password on each device. Your data will sync automatically.

Right now, Luma is only available in English. We’d love to offer other languages in the future as we grow.

We release small bug fixes regularly and aim to add new tools or features a few times a year. Make sure you’ve turned on automatic updates so you don’t miss them.
